To go or not to go?

I'm still contemplating if I should visit my friend in Melbourne...
It's been a while seen I last saw her. She's a good friend of mine, got to know her in Polytechnic...
Still remember the times when I throw tantrum (:/), she will still try to remain as patient and tolerant as she can. Haha. That's one point I've been trying to achieve.
Back to the thought.
Have been checking the ticket prices, the cheapest was $600 plus. Just for the air ticket alone. If I'm going, I'll be staying with her no doubt. However, I'm still thinking if it will be too much for me to take it, physically and financially. Because if I were to visit her, after I come back, I'll be heading to Cameron Highlands, and then Europe. Woah!
And not to mention the money...!!!
Hmmm...how now brown cow???

Hummingbird Bakery

Heard about Hummingbird Bakery only recently, like this year. Can't wait to sink my teeth into those spongy lil' cakes! (:

Europe Adventure!

It all begin with a Dream.

Then Determination.

Lastly, Deals!!!

Hahaha.
Alright, I think it was last year that I came up with this idea of going to Europe to celebrate my 21st birthday.
Looking at my friend's celebration, I find it hassle to invite people, then find a place to celebrate it.
Or maybe I was just trying to be different?
But seriously, I've always wanted to go to Europe. Or rather, travel around the world. Discover new things. Help me to look at the Earth in a different perspective.

I remember the first time I stepped out of this country was the time when I was 17. (FYI: The time I first got my passport. Serious.) To Japan. Followed by JB. Haha. With my friends. Then to Hong Kong, my first ever Free & Easy trip planned entirely by me! (: Then to TW. And to TW again. Hualien being my favourite place in TW atm. (:

Therefore, since I was going to Europe to celebrate my 21st birthday, I've decided to make it a solo trip cos #YOLO!
Hope I return back in 1 piece! :/

So I started on my planning. Since I'm going to Europe, I kind of know I NEED A LOT OF MONEY.
So, can save must try to save.
In terms of saving up every month, and also finds lots of DEALS DEALS DEALS.

I was quite lucky I feel. Because Swiss Air is coming to SG in May 2013, they are having sale for flights from SG to Europe.
And I happen to chance upon this! Although there is a stopover at Zurich, who cares?
I mean S$1050 from SG to London (LHR), c'mon! It's cheap!!!
Furthermore, I can make use of the stopover to visit Zurich! 'Hit 2 birds with one stone.'

Just to add on, a few more points to convince you it's a dirt cheap deal.
1. Swiss Air is a member of Star Alliance. Not to mention Singapore Air (SIA) too.
2. It's not a budget airline. There is individual television and headphone, and free chocolates. Hehe.

For my accomodation, I was planning to stay in a hotel. But I went to google reviews of the many hotels which I've shortlisted, I saw a lot of negative comments.
Therefore, I've decided to stay in this hostel which has a good security system, is very near the Underground, and has less than 10 negative reviews out of the few hundred reviews. The hostel is..."PRIDE OF PADDINGTON!" (:

So in total, my hotel + accomodation = S$1050 + S$365 = S$1415.
Isn't it CHEAP?!?! And I'm not sacrificing comfort for money. I get both! (:
Hmmm, I think that's about it. Will blog more about my Europe Adventure in time to come! (:

P.S. Without actions, dreams are nothing but dreams.
