What a Saturday!

Went to see Andy Warhol's and the Titanic exhibition with Suhaila yesterday...

'Andrew Warhola (6 August 1928 – 22 February 1987), better known as Andy Warhol, was
an American painter, printmaker, and filmmaker. He was a leading figure in the visual art
movement known as Pop Art and was renowned for using mass production of popular
culture such as advertising, comic books, and brand products, as the basis of his art.' (from MBS)
He was a guy who is fascinated with simple things. Enjoyed the exhibition! (:

Next up is the Titanic exhibition!
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition
This exhibition is really worth the money. Pretty long walk inside the museum itself.
Anyway, through this exhibition, I got a better understanding of the Titanic, and I could find myself walking through the Titanic...the different parts of it. And have seen a lot of the artifacts that were found in/outside of the Titanic itself. It was really cool. But kind of sad that people have lost their lives because of some people's decisions. Sigh.

Anyway, so after the exhibition, we went home...and on the way home, I saw TWG! And was drawn in to TWG by their macarons. Hehe. So bought a box of 6 to bring home to try! (:
TWG's macarons are basically different physically from Bakerzin, Jewels Artisan Chocolate and Canele's one. TWG's macarons are much bigger.
As I bite into the macarons, it's very different from the ones I ate all the places above.
Let's talk about the shell first. I was a bit disappointed with the Earl Grey and Chocolate one because I didn't get the chewy feeling as I eat it. But the Napoleon Tea & Caramel one was alright. It was quite chewy. But the shells of the macarons are matte not shiny. And the shells are not crunchy.
But I love their fillings. It was the first time I've eaten macarons with fillings that are gel like. Or thick. Not those cupcake kind of filling, those melt in the mouth filling.
And the thing I love the most about their macarons are their not so sweet! And it's super cool how every one of their macarons are tea infused macarons. Really cool.
If you were to ask me if I would buy their macarons again, it would be a 70% chance I would purchase TWG's macarons again.
Now, let the pictures do the talking!
